Born as an application platform for iOS in November of 2013, it was literally (and perhaps unexpectedly, overwhelmed by the success), so as to be able to conquer the Google Play Store (where it landed in March 2014). At the end of May 2015, QuizUp saw the launch of version 2.0, which repositions the application on the market: no longer just a game where you challenge friends or strangers in their free time, but a real social network that wants to break the unchallenged domination of Facebook. Through games of trivia, every user can find friends and organize meetings with people he knows in the chat application. Also you can customize the profile with their interests and share them with the community online, hoping to find some person with the same passions. QuizUp 2.0 has many new features implemented social, including the timeline where anyone can post photos and status updates about the game.
How does QuizUp Work?
With the new version, you can use both on QuizUp smartphones (downloadable via App Store, Google Play Store and Windows Phone Store) or in your normal computer. Before you can start playing, though, you need to register: You can use the credentials of Facebook and Twitter, or choose to create an account from scratch, using your own email and setting a username with a password. At this point you are ready to get into the game: QuizUp ask you to select three of the categories of questions (among more than a thousand available). It is, of course, the sectors in which the user feels more prepared: all the meetings that will be organized, in fact, provide for requests only on the themes chosen.
How to play QuizUp
Organize and play matches of QuizUp is extremely simple: after pressing the button Topics at the bottom right, you will have to choose a topic among those proposed by the application and press the button Play.
